Our Favorite Ways to Spend Sundays

Our Favorite Ways to Spend Sundays

You may have heard the phrase, ‘A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.' That’s one of our favorite mantras around here at ThirdLove.

We work hard to change the lives of women by getting them in the most comfortable and perfect-fitting bra they’ve ever worn, but we also understand the importance of balance and taking time to unwind.

Enter weekends—specifically, Sunday. Having a Sunday routine that is equal parts leisure and preparation for the week ahead is important to us. Here are our favorite ways to spend Sunday. We hope these ideas inspire you to create the best Sunday routine you’ve ever had.

Take A Hike

Sundays are the perfect time to get outdoors. Our headquarters are in San Francisco, and some of our favorite hiking trails are in the Marin Headlands. No matter where you live, there’s a place outdoors for you. Soak in the fresh air and the sunshine before winter hits!

Staff Pick: Tennessee Valley Trail

Explore

‘Sundays are for adventures!’ = another one of our favorite mantras. Whether it’s a new brunch spot, a new store, or a new part of town, Sunday is our day to explore it. When your day doesn’t have to stick to a schedule, you can afford to stand in line for that new brunch hot spot or get lost in a new part of town.

Staff Pick: Zazie Cafe (Sit on the garden patio! Their Eggs Benedict is worth the wait).

Unwind

What better leisurely activity to do on Sundays than soak in an epsom salt bath? Whether you want to de-stress or ease those sore muscles from that long hike, epsom salt baths are a great way to feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and refreshed.

Staff Pick: Dr. Teal’s Lavender Scented Epsom Salt

Get Ahead Of It

We’ve all heard of the Sunday scaries. To avoid them, we like to get prepared for the week by taking a look at our calendars and setting our expectations for the week ahead. Got an early meeting? Got an event after work? Got a date night (don’t forget your Bodysuit!)? By mentally preparing for what’s to come, we have more peace of mind come Monday morning.

Staff Pick: Ban.do Monthly/Weekly Agenda Calendars

Set Intentions

Sunday evenings are the perfect time to set a few goals and intentions for the week. Want to exercise 3x? Want to pack salads all week? Want to be in bed by 9pm every night? Set those micro-goals on Sundays evenings so you’re working toward being your healthiest, happiest self all week.

Staff Pick: Kate Spade Journals especially ‘Everything’s Coming Up Roses’
