Beauty Find: Stowaway Cosmetics

Have you ever bought makeup, used it a few times, and then had it sit in your bathroom cabinet for years until it expires? That’s a pet peeve of ours—and Stowaway Cosmetics shares our frustration. So they did something about it and created realistically-sized makeup so that none of it ever goes to waste. Now, you’ll have just the right amount of lipstick. Genius!

Fashion Find: Bembien

Straw bags are seriously trending for the end of summer, and Bembien is serving us the straw bags of our dreams. This Harper Bag, in particular, is calling our names—and, as an added bonus, every piece from Bembien will transition perfectly into fall, since it’s all made of burnt brown straw (a year-round classic).

Foodie Find: Trader Joe's Debuts Four New Seltzer Flavors

Are you a big La Croix fan? Those who love the cult-favorite brand are obsessed, but Trader Joe’s isn’t going down without a fight. This week, they launched four new flavors of their sparkling water—Pineapple, Island Colada, Grapefruit, and Cranberry Clementine—to their lineup, and get this: each water has O sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and costs only 99 cents. We may just be converts!

We cannot get enough of Potent Plum for fall. It’s the perfect rich color (and dark neutral) that goes with everything for fall, from camel sweaters to corduroy skinnies and velvet booties. Count us in!

Science Find: Next Week’s Total Solar Eclipse

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about next Monday’s (August 21, 2017) Total Solar Eclipse that’s happening across the United States. In short, everyone in North America will be able to at least partially see the moon blocking part of—or all, depending on the time of day—the sun. Don’t forget to rush-order your special glasses to view the eclipse!
