Winter is coming.
No, seriously, it’s right around the corner. And if you’re still living by the old adage that your skincare routine in May works in December, you might need a little beauty refresher. In fall and winter, the temps tend to drop, the air gets drier, and your skin needs a little added moisture. Now is the time to pump up the products!
Here are four of our favorite ways to pay a little extra attention to your beauty routine this season:
1. Invest in a thick nighttime moisturizer.
Winter weather can wreak havoc on skin, especially in super-cold climates. To avoid dry, peeling, or cracked skin this time of year, invest in a thick and hydrating night time moisturizer.

2. Schedule a facial!
